pumpkin patch??

On Monday Lindsey W. and Laney, Kristin and Jadeyn, Jennifer, Gavin and I went to this place called Appelin Farms to go to a pumpkin patch. Well....that's what we thought it was anyways. We got there...after driving around for awhile...we weren't quite sure where it was....and they weren't totally ready because it was the 1st day. They had this big shed (no walls on it though) right in front with all the pumpkins in different bins. Then they had a barn with chickens in it right next to it. Back behind they had a barn with some animals in it...they only had 3 different things because...like I said it was the 1st day and they weren't really ready. Then you had to drive down this dirt road thing back to a sunflower field which was absolutely gorgeous to see all those flowers in one big field. Then next to it was the supposed pumpkin patch. I think they picked all the pumpkins....there really weren't any there...which was a bummer because we could have gotten some really cute pictures there....oh well. The kids had some fun running around and they all got a little pumpkin to bring home. Even though it was a little bit of a let down, we still had fun!
